An Opportunity to
Bridge the Gap
We are proving that a scholar’s zip code should never determine their opportunities or potential. Our scholars excel, but public funding falls short—especially in transportation, nutrition, and facilities, which receive no dedicated public funding.
Fueling Success with Nutritious Meals
$75,000
A hungry child can't focus. RISE ensures every scholar starts the day ready to learn by providing free breakfast and lunch—because no student should have to learn on an empty stomach.
Ensuring Reliable Transportation
$350,000
Showing up is the first step to success. Reliable transportation is essential for attendance, and RISE fully funds these costs to remove barriers, reduce absenteeism, and keep scholars engaged every day.
Investing in Safe, Inspiring Spaces
$500,000
Unlike district schools, charter schools receive no funding for facilities. RISE independently covers the cost of our mortgage, maintenance, and capital improvements—ensuring scholars have a safe, welcoming place to learn and grow.
Champion Their Success
Thanks to strategic planning and community support, RISE has covered most costs—but a $90,000 shortfall remains. Your generosity will help sustain momentum, expand opportunities, and secure a brighter future for our scholars.
Empowering Excellence for Every Scholar
As a tuition-free public charter school in Southeast Raleigh, we provide personalized, high-quality education to bridge opportunity gaps for children who are furthest from access.
Our mission is being realized through our incredible achievements:

Through rigorous academics, mentorship, and extracurricular opportunities, we prepare scholars to lead with confidence, resilience, and integrity.
“Both my son and daughter love this school—they’re motivated, excited about learning, and receiving a top-notch education. The teachers go the extra mile to ensure every child truly understands the curriculum.”
