At RISE Charter School, we are a community bound by the belief in the limitless potential of every child. From the moment a scholar walks through our doors, they are met with high expectations, unwavering support, and the tools they need to rise—academically, personally, and as future leaders.
Founded in 2015, our mission was clear: to give scholars in Southeast Raleigh access to an education that not only meets expectations but far surpasses them. In 2020, we evolved into RISE—an independent, nonprofit charter school—deepening our commitment to excellence and strengthening our impact on the community we serve.
Today, we stand as a beacon of possibility. Serving grades K-8, we combine rigorous academics with intentional character development, shaping scholars who are prepared to lead in the classroom and beyond. Our approach blends cutting-edge learning tools, a focus on arts and athletics, and real-world leadership experiences to cultivate thinkers, creators, and change-makers.
